WELCOME!

My name is Grete and I'm an award-winning fine artist and photographer in London, UK. This is where I'll be adding items featuring my designs and artwork based on my photographic work.

Everything you see is real, captured and reworked by me. It's often a slow and laborious process: Taking photographs sometimes with complex lighting setups, editing, sometimes turning them into screen prints, other times hand coloured too.

FOREST THEMES:

I love the forest and spend a lot of time there noticing everything from the curious shapes of the pollarded trees to the way light drizzles between the leaves. The LOVEHEARTS are a series of over 1000 love declarations carved by people on trees, meticulously photographed and catalogued over a 6 year period.

PRODUCTS:

Screen prints are all printed by hand by me at The Print Club in London. I outsource some production to trusted partners in the UK and Europe. Clothing is always of a very high quality and organic whenever possible.
